July 20, 2008/Birth:
8 lbs, 6 oz...21 inches (though this may have been a little high)

August 8, 2008/2 weeks:
9 lbs, 6 oz...21 inches (for real)

August 20, 2008/4 weeks:
10 lbs, 3 oz...22 inches (movin' on up!)

September 16, 2008/8 weeks:

11 lbs, 4 oz...22.25 inches (small but scrappy!)

November 20, 2008/4 months:

13 lbs, 6 oz...24.5 inches

January 23, 2009/6 months:

15 lbs, 5 oz...25.5 inches

April 24, 2009/9 months:

17 lbs, 12 oz...27.75 inches

Milestones

I really should have started this at the first smile, but better late than never right?

3 Months

November 18, 2008 at 17.5 weeks he ROLLED OVER! Tummy to back.

4 Months

November 22, 2008...we tried rice cereal for the first time and we LIKED it.

November 30, 2008...having read too many things on the internet, I am stopping the cereal and waiting to introduce solids until six months. Dr. Google said so.

December 7, 2008...Grandma and Poppy cheated and gave him cereal so I guess we're back on the cereal bandwagon. He seems to like it and who am I to deny the boy his happiness?

December 12, 2008...We have found our feet! Well, I found my feet years ago, but Noah just discovered his. I've been trying to tell him for months just how munchable his toes are and now he knows.

December 18, 2008...The first tooth makes its appearance! On the bottom left and a sharp little sucker.

5 Months

December 25, 2008...Sweet potatoes are added to the menu and well-received.

December 29, 2008...SECOND tooth in! Bottom right.

January 3, 2009...Noah can sit unsupported!

6 Months

January 26, 2009...He can roll back to front.

February 1, 2009...Creeping begins!

February 5, 2009...Fractured leg kind of limits the mobility. Four weeks until he's free of the cast.

7 Months

February 26, 2009...Free at last! No more cast.

March 1, 2009...Mamamama, nananana, bababababa, gaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!

March 2, 2009...Top two eye teeth make their appearance. Totally out of order but would he be my son if he was normal? I think not.

March 18, 2009...Left front tooth has arrived! The past few days make so much more sense.

8 Months

March 25, 2009...Right front tooth is in. Count 'em..SIX teeth.

March 30, 2009...FINALLY started creeping on his belly. Not quite crawling.

9 Months

April 24, 2009...Consistently getting up on his hands and knees and rocking. Also, standing and pulling up on tables...and loves to "walk" while holding on to Mommy.

April 26, 2009...We're waving bye-bye! And we have mastered the sippy cup.

May 3, 2009...He CRAWLS! Finally.

May 10, 2009...On MOTHER'S Day, he says Da Da. Obviously.

May 18, 2009...Pulls himself to standing on the toy box. And does it over and over and over again. Can drop himself to his bum from standing, thereby precluding him from falling on his head.

10 Months

May 22, 2009...Clap! Clap! Clapping! Is! So! Fun!

May 30, 2009...My little puppet: can blow kisses and "dance" on demand.

11 Months

June 20, 2o09...Can say "Dada" when looking for Daddy. Cannot say "Mama" when looking for me. Seriously?

June 29, 2009...Can walk with the push toy and no other support. We're getting closer!

July 1, 2009...Subsisting on a diet of bananas, whole wheat bread, and green beans. Also, he had his first bloody lip today. Nothing a wet washcloth and snuggles with Mommy couldn't make better.

July 6, 2009...I say "How old is Noah?" Noah holds up his pointer finger for "ONE!" Genius, I tell you, sheer genius.

July 18, 2009...Can bite off pieces of food. I don't know that this is an actual milestone but it makes it so much easier to feed him now that he can self-control how much he eats at a time.

12 Months

July 20, 2009...HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!

August 2009...Not only do I have a tiny shadow, I also have a tiny mimic-er. New words attempted after hearing me say them: blue berry (bloooooooo), pool (poooooooo), grandma (uhmaaaaaa), more (mo, mo), book (buh), bath (bah), remote (mote) (and more if I could think of them).

13 Months

September 3, 2009...FIVE WHOLE STEPS!

September 12, 2009...SIX WHOLE STEPS! (we're getting there, very slowly)

September 13, 2009...Can use a spoon all by himself!

14 Months

September 23, 2009...WALKING!!! WALKING!!! Annnnnndddd, back to crawling.

October 4, 2009...Walking for reals. Kind of the cutest thing ever.

October 6, 2009...Mastered the fork.

CHLOE

5 Months

Rolling from tummy to back, sitting unsupported. Started solids and LOVING IT (or so I assume due to the screeching I hear around dinner time.)
